Chromecast adds support for four new apps

Andijack News

Google’s Chromecast streaming TV dongle has added support for four new apps.

Users can cast live sports content from the WatchESPN app with an account from a participating cable provider. This is perfect for watching all 64 World Cup matches, the NBA Finals, X Games and college football.

MLS fans can cast live soccer matchups with the MLS Matchday app as well as the MLS Live premium service.

For photos, Google+ Photos can transform your TV into a photo album by casting Google+ photos and videos. You can access this by using the ‘cast’ button in the photos view of Google+’s Android and iOS apps.

Lastly, korean drama, anime and live-action title site Crunchyroll allows Chromecast users to watch over 25,000 hours of content.

The update is rolling out now for the apps mentioned above.
